Rem: lg 7 is a decimal (by base 10) logarithm of 7.

Did you know that 30% of all numbers have 1 as their first significant digit?  This is true of all physical constants, and of all dollar amounts, and populations, and areas, etc.  It is arguably true of all natural numbers, also.  And it happens because the log 2 is approximately .30.  Which is why I know the log 2.
