Three customers (Posted on 2011-10-17) Difficulty: 1 of 5
Yesterday, during my breakfast at "Express Café" I was seated next to a table with 3 customers: two of them had toasted bread, two of them had eggs and two ate fruit salad.
The guy that did not eat toasted bread, did not eat eggs and the guy that did not eat fruit salad, did not eat eggs as well.
What did each one of them eat?

Solution Something was rotten (spoiler) | Comment 1 of 9
One ate fruit, one ate bread, one ate fruit and bread.  When I saw them leave, there were two uneaten servings of eggs still on the plates.  I can't say for sure why the two guys that had the eggs on their plate didn't eat them, but there was a strange sulphuric aroma emanating from the general direction of their table.

Or maybe the guy who ate both fruit and bread ate half his eggs, and then warned one of the others not to taste it.  It was hard for me to tell, since I was at the other end of the restaurant and couldn't see who had the eggs.  But I am sure that at least one of the servings of eggs was completely untouched.
