Use simple substitution code (letters to digits)
to get a 3x3 magic square.
Rem: eb=10*e+b
Since the problem is dealing with digits then "ee" must be no lager than 11.
Take the magic square
8 1 6
3 5 7
4 9 2
and rotate it clockwise:
4 3 8
9 5 1
2 7 6
Now add 2 to each value:
6 5 10
11 7 3
4 9 8
(I note Charlie has brought in leading zeroes which do not appear to be ruled out by the problem text).
