John Vignetti cheated on a test by not looking at the answers. If he had looked at the answers, then he would not have been cheating. How?

John was enrolled in Spy School and the assignment was to infiltrate another school, take an exam, and obtain answers by looking at answer sheets of other test takers.  But he was familiar with the subject, so he used his own knowledge rather than his spy skills to answer the questions
