Play on words II (Posted on 2012-06-19) Difficulty: 1 of 5
A man is trapped in a room far away from home There is a door with a keyhole, but it is locked. He does not feel an immediate need to escape as help is on the way and he will be free within the next 24 hours.

In the room there is:
  • a calendar
  • a bed
Using wordplay, how does he eat and drink (in this order) in the interim?

Note: This riddle allows the use of homophones and different meanings of words. For example, if somewhere along the way you get the word "pear", you're allowed switching it to the word "pair" because they're homophones. Also, if you get the word "note", you're allowed to switch the meaning from something to help you remember to a musical note, or vice versa.
