I had thought that there might be permutations that might arrive at my desired solution but it looked difficult to analyse when constructing.  I knew that a computer solution was inevitable, and wondered if someone might have come in with a Python or Wolfram proposal.  I hadn't anticipated 2 "general" solutions.
