My new sequence (Posted on 2012-12-08) Difficulty: 3 of 5
This is one of two new sequences but the second would give this one away. It starts at 2.

55, 4, 28, 28, 4, 19, 19, 2, 19, 19, 4, 19, 19, 13, 28, 28, 11, 46, 199, ...

ps. It isn't in the OEIS (but it probably should be.)

Some Thoughts Poly thoughts? | Comment 1 of 6
I had thoughts of polynomials being overlaid, or rather, interwoven.  Something within the context of first sentence of the problem seems to invalidate that thought.

As there are highs and lows with values being repeated in some harmonic way,I'm wondering about some sense of wave motion.

But then, certain of those numbers cannot be dismissed as having some Fibonacci significance.  Some obviously are skipped while some do not belong.
