In a game of chess, formulate a position using the minimum possible pieces, where white has one queen, one rook, one bishop and one knight, and has exactly one mating move with each of these pieces.
Black has king, king's bishop, and king's pawn on their original squares.
For white, bishop goes c8, rook d7, knight e6, queen f4. Put the white king on e1 to get a legal position.
The black bishop blocks a second mate by the white knight and the black pawn takes away a flight square on the rook move.
With this setup White has alternatives in placing the bishop, rook, and queen but the knight seems fixed to support mates by rook and queen.
