What feature governs the sequence

1,4,3,11,15,13, ...

in which 73 and 3000 are neighboring members?

Personally I would replace 3000 with 101.
The convention you may have used puts 101 three numbers back which is where I put 111.
But you would place your 111 three spaces further...
