Using only the vertices of a regular octahedron as the corners, how many equilateral triangles in total is it possible to make?
I'm not very good at geometry puzzles, so I'm sure I'm missing something, but isn't it just 8? Each of the faces of the octahedron is an equilateral triangle, and I don't see how to make any others.
