Given that b<2k and g<2k, what is the probability that within the group of theatre-goers there will be more girls than boys?

ok, thanks. See the coda paragraph that I have at the end to add to the explanation for the case of 5 girls and 3 boys. I hope that is enough of an example case so the others can be more easily understood.
