Odd men out (Posted on 2015-04-29) Difficulty: 3 of 5
I was given an "odd man out" quiz, which definitely admitted more than one answer.
I have slightly modified it to make it even more ridiculous.

Please comment on the following set of numbers:
19, 33, 69, 72, 98
Choose the possible options for "odd man out" and justify your choices.

Some Thoughts re: starting out | Comment 2 of 6 |
(In reply to starting out by Charlie)

Maybe it's just me, and maybe I am just splitting hairs, but I think an "odd man out" should be the only one that lacks some property common to all the others, instead of the only one that has some property that none of the others have.

So, of Charlie's answers, the only one I like is his first.  And I would rephrase it as:

"19 is the odd man out, because it is the only one that IS NOT composite".
