A Google search finds the expected answer it day and night. I had tried to find actual personified siblings in mythology, like Aurora and Nox (or Nyx), but no such pairs had a sibling relationship.
Sun and moon lack the necessary relationship, as the moon's sojourn in the sky is on average half in daytime and half at night. Only on the day of the full moon (one day a month) is moonrise at approximately sunset. On the various (29 or 30) days of a lunar (synodic) month the relation of their sets and rises goes through all possibilities, as the moon averages its times to be about 50 minutes later of solar time each day.
