Your king is on a corner cell of a chessboard and your opponent's knight is on the corner cell diagonally opposite. No other pieces are on the board. The knight moves first.

Since a knight's move changes color, as long as the king moves to the opposite from the color the knight is currently on it cannot be checked.

The only risk may be getting cornered, so the king should also stay close the the center of the board.
