Place a familiar mathematical symbol between 2 and 3 to express
a number greater than 2 and less than 3.
Watch out! There is more than one solution!

re: The 3rd one by Jer)
1. Ok
(re my premature posting) for the future.
2. "you own problems" s.b. "your own problems"
3. Although "more than one" does not imply "more than two" there was some "pre-conditioning" both on the reviewing board and within the solving process to provide an additional solution and my posting of the third solution (not necessarily the last) was triggered to show that there exist a 3rd way and that it is known to me.
4. Lowering the rating from 4 to 2.5 (= by grading it 1) was surely not based on evaluating the level of the puzzle (content, difficulty and brevity of presentation), - other non-professional (IMHO non-relevant) factors prevailed.
5. It would be appreciated, if the person who rated my puzzle "1" would come out into the open and disclose his reasons (if any).
6. The puzzle with its tricky solution (decimal point) is not mine;
both the additional one-symbol answers (neither a cubic-root nor 2<3 qualify) and the quest for creative solvers are mine
