the area implies a*b=48.
The area implies base*height = 48, which is not quite the same thing.
Triangle {3,4,5}*3={9,12,15}, area 54. Triangle {5,12,13} has area 30. If you align the right angles and deduct the smaller area from the larger, a new triangle appears, area (54-30)=24, sides 4,13,15.
