An equilateral triangle with one side 6cm is inscribed in a circle with its three vertices on the circumference. What is the diameter of the circle?
Basicly, I used the law of signs:
(sin 120/6 cm) = (sin 30/x) => x=(6 sin 30/sin120)
x is aproximatly 3.46 cm, and just so happens to be the radius. d = 2r => d = 2(3.46 cm), about 6.92 cm.
