Subdivide the 8x10 grid below along the grid lines into nonoverlapping rectangles (some may be squares). Each rectangle must contain exactly one number; each number indicates how many small cells are contained within the rectangle.
From Mensa Puzzle Calendar 2018 by Fraser Simpson, Workman Publishing, New York. Puzzle for October 24.
I list inside each rectangle the order discovered, not the area.
The order is 1,2,3,4,5,6,6,7,8,9,A,B
6 and 6 come together.

Another puzzle for filling-in pixels 2-d is "Picross" and
there is a nice version in Armor Games (Strategy) that
uses a Picross to make pictures, but I con't recall its name.
