Hmm, let's see...
The number of digits to each 'section':
1: 1 1 1 1 1 1 1
0: 1 1 3 1 3 1 3
or: 1 1 1 1 1 3 1 1 1 3 1 1 1 3 overall

Binary equivalents?
1: 1
2: 10
5: 101
10: 1010
21: 10101
42: 101010
84: 1010100
168: 10101000
...
A few terms are doubled, a few are doubled plus one (duh, that's what tacking on to a binary number does...)

Perhaps:
10 101000 1000101000
leading to:
10 101000 1000101000 101000101000

Although, I suppose that is no different than:
10 101000 101000 101000 101000 ...

Yeah, no clue.
