Can a number consisting of 600 sixes and some zeros be a square?

No.   No amount of 6's is possible.  If the number ends in 00, then the number divided by 100 is a square.  No square ends in 60, since its square root would end in 0.  If the number ends in 6,  the last two digits are either 13, 36, 56, 76, 96.
