Some East and Cenral European countries such as Russia, Belarus, Moldova etc. follow the Julian calendar and observe (Orthodox) Christmas Day on January 7 every year. Some countries like Armenia observe it on January 6.
Many Orthpdox Christian's in the U.S. follow the Julian calendar and observe Christmas Day on or near January 7 in the gregorian calendar.
