The three oil-producing countries Qatar, Romania, and Saudi Arabia were the finalists in long jump. Walking around, I heard three comments from three different persons, one from each country:
"Saudi Arabia got the Gold."
"Qatar ended in a higher place than Saudi Arabia".
"Romania was the worst."
A judge commented that whenever a person said anything mentioning his own country, he was right in his beliefs, but if he only spoke about other countries, he was wrong. I didn't know which person was from which country, but I could recognize the Romanian because of his occidental clothes. With help of the judge's comment, I could reason out the final standings. What were they?

Assume that the Romanian was the first speaker. Then, there would be these 2 solutions:
GOLD : Romania Qatar
SILVER : Qatar Romania
BRONZE : Saudi Arabia Saudi Arabia
Obviously, it won't be possible to reason out the final standings.
Assume that the Romanian was the 2nd speaker. Then there would be two possible standings as follows:
GOLD : Saudi Arabia Romania
SILVER : Romania Saudi Arabia
BRONZE : Qatar Qatar
In a similar vein, the puzzle author, will not be able to deduce the final standings in this situation.
If Romanian was the 3rd speaker, then the only possible placing would be:
Qatar got Gold, Saudi Arabia got Silver, and Romania got Bronze.
Therefore the final standings were:
GOLD : Qatar
SILVER : Saudi Arabia
BRONZE : Romania
