ABC is a triangle:
  • Angle A < 90.
  • D is a point on BC such that BD = DC.
  • M is a point on BC such that AM is perpendicular to BC.

    If
  • AD = 10,
  • BC = 12 and
  • MC = 11
    find the length of AC.

    Hmmm... May this be my bad? I edited the angle name from what looked like "BAC" to just "A" for clarity. I may have not seen that the angle name was actually something else (like "ACB"). If that is the case, I would really like Dulanjana to let me know so I can change it back ASAP.

    Also, the picture is drawn strictly from my understanding of the problem and may be completely misleading.
