Prove the equation cos(x) = log
(2*pi)x has exactly 3 real solutions if x is measured in radians.
What must the base of the logarithm be reduced to to give the equation exactly two real solutions?
Somebody gave this puzzle a most unwarranted, and unfair rating of D1. I gave it a D5 to bring up the rating to D3.
