Yes! Feeding 7^7 % 7! in wolframalpha.com - I also got the same answer, that is, 2023, which is "felix sit annus novus" meaning "happy new year".

The author asked us to come up with a concise answer. He did NOT posit any restriction towards solution obtained by way of an online calculator.

However, I doff my hats to the author for thinking up such an innovative puzzle.
