A troublesome number puzzle (Posted on 2023-03-10) Difficulty: 3 of 5
H is a function that for many numbers H(n)=n, but some give troublesome results. Here are a few examples:

H(480)=1
H(737)=20
H(1000)=300000000
H(5600)=15
H(134423)=1482000000000

What's the rule for the H function, which can be troublesome for people who should use a real database?

The H function, when used by Excel, basically does two things even though it's supposed to just do the first.
If a number is changed, it often has a few zeros (or even a lot of zeros) at the end.
480 is the smallest number for which H(n) is not n.

H(481)=10
H(482)=100
H(483)=1000

H(736)=2
H(738)=200
