What is the next number in the following series?

1, 2, 4, 13, 31, 112, ?

The answer is got is 274.

Method: To get each number multiply the previous number by 2 then add an additional number on top of those. For the first two numbers you add 0, the next two you add 5 then the last two you add 50.

Thats how I got it anyway ^_^. How old are people on this? I'm 14.
