If a 7kg object is thrown straight upwards at a speed of 10m/s(meters per second)
To what height will it rise?
note: gravitational constant = -9.8m/s
Since V=D/t, A=V/t
The velocity V is an average Velocity V=(V1-V2)/2
V2=0
V1=10/2 m/sec
A=g=-9.81m/sec² since the object goes up, g=9.81m/s²
t=V1/A =10/(2*9.81) sec
D=V1²/A=10²/(2*9.81)=5.09683m
Note: The mass is not used
