Find all pairs (x, y) of positive integers that satisfy this equation:
(y+1)
y = 2*y
x+3y+1
*** Adapted from a problem which appeared at the 2012 Spanish Mathematical Olympiad.
There are an infinite number of solutions when y=0, but these are not allowed. x=0 and y=2 is also not allowed. That leaves x=y=3 as the only solution per Larry's post.
