Suppose that one bowl costs more than two plates, three plates cost more than four candlesticks, and three candlesticks cost more than one bowl.
If it costs precicely $100 to purchase a plate, bowl, and candlestick, how much does each item cost?

I took a look with a program. Looks like you found
the only integer solution. Playing with half dollars I found:
54.00 26.50 19.50
54.50 26.50 19.00
54.50 27.00 18.50
55.00 26.00 19.00
55.00 26.50 18.50
55.50 25.50 19.00
This kinda shows where it's going if you accept pennies.
Surely there is an easy analytic solution using inequalities and substitution to give the real number limits.
