Some Thoughts Well ... Comment 1 of 1
Two solutions are seen by inspection:
(x,y) can be (1,0) or (2,1)
7^0 + 2 = 3^1
7^1 + 2 = 3^2

But a proof that there are no other solutions escapes me.
