Bob loves to cook and eat eggs. He just had a plate full of fried eggs, followed by a bowl of scrambled. Now he wants some poached eggs, or maybe hard boiled, but in spite of cooking them for a very very long time, they are still not done. Where is Bob?

Well, to limit the boiling point to 70C the pressure must be below 330 hPa. This follows from basic physics (i.e. the CC equation, not individual sources). As for pressure at any locations - yes - it varies, but a 40 year study shows that a sustained low of 365 is the minimum one could expect at the Everest summit, allowing 74 C water.
