Simultaneous Equations (Posted on 2003-09-25) Difficulty: 3 of 5
No one can argue with the following equation:

√10 - 3 = √10 - 3

Add three lines to the right-hand side of the equation so that both sides are still equal.

adding three lines | Comment 9 of 19 |
it could be in󕈲 - 3 x 1
where the multiply sign makes up two lines and the one makes up the third line
another possible solution is
sqrt 10 - absolute value of a -3
two lines for the absolute value designation
(one vertical line goes on each side of the -3)
and the third line would be the minus sign itself
in -3
