It is best if you post how you got your answer instead of just the answer. There aren't any rules or anything, but I wouldn't really consider this a solution, just an answer.
I did manage to figure out what you did anyway. From each row to the next, a "|" appears in the next if the one above it and the one above and to the right are different. The rightmost symbol is determined by the one above and the leftmost one in the row above. I'm having a little trouble explaining it. I hope it's clear.
