I toss two coins and look at the outcome.
I then tell you that at least one of the coins is showing up as "tails". What is the chance that the other one is showing "tails" as well?
(from techInterview.org)
The problem actually CAN'T be restated as
"When two coins are tossed, what is the probability that they both show tails, given that at least one is showing tails?"
Givin the fact that a coin most frequently has two sides, the probability of one of them doing ALMOST ANYTHING is 1:2. Yeesh.
