The whole sequence is 9, 81, 65, 61, 37, 58, 89, 145, 42, 20, 4, ...
The sequence is found by taking the square of each digit, and adding them together. 4 squared is 16, 1 squared is 1, 6 squared is 36, added together they are 37.
So, the number the sequence starts out with is 9.
The next single digit number in the sequence is the eleventh term, which is 4. |
