Broken TV Testament (Posted on 2023-02-15) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Xander and Rowan each own a television. They watched the exact same program at the exact same time.

However what looked like white on Xander's television looked yellow on Rowan's.

In this case, what color would cyan, on Xander's TV, look like on Rowan's? Provide valid reasoning for your answer.

I reproduce ad verbatim Larry's solution as follows:
Answer: green
Mixing colors of light is very different from mixing colors of paint, which makes it non-intuitive for many people, including me. LCD screens traditionally have red, green, and blue pixels. If the TV is attempting white, but it shows up as yellow, it means there is no blue light contributing. So Rowan's TV has red and green pixels but not blue. Cyan light is a mixture of green light and blue light, so if Xander's TV shows cyan, Rowan's will show green.
