Wonderful Water Works (Posted on 2005-03-19) Difficulty: 3 of 5
Sixteen five gallon containers form a 4x4 grid. Move only ONE container so as to make the row sums, column sums, and main diagonal sums, the same.

It's easy to work out that the sums should be 10. Take the full container in the last row, and fill the 4 container in the last row, then the 3 container in the second row, and finally empty the rest in the 1 container at the top left. The result will be:
[3] [2] [3] [2]
[2] [2] [5] [1]
[3] [1] [2] [4]
[2] [5] [0] [3]
