Guessme Two (Posted on 2003-02-01) Difficulty: 2 of 5
Twice ten are six of us,

Six are but three of us,

Nine are but four of us;

What can we possibly be?

Would you know more of us,

Twelve are but six of us,

Five are but four, do you see?

They are the "Number of LETTERS" of a word.

Like twice ten means twice of 3(since the word ten contains three letters), which is equal to 6, Six are but three(the word six contains three letters)....and so on....which also explains 'Twelve are but six of us,Five are but four.'
