Top Spin Solution Upper case (A to E) refers to the tops and lower case (a to o) refers to the clues. From g and n, 4 and 16 are on A; 10 on B; 18 on C; 20 on D; 22 on E. Clue f places 9/19 on D/E, but m places 19 on D and therefore 9 on E. Clue h places 17 on B. Clue o places 13/15 on A/B, but m places 15 on A and therefore 13 on B. Clue m also places 21 on C; k places 8 on E; b places 2 on D. Clue i places 6/23 on C/D. but d places 23 on C and therefore 6 on D. Clue a places 1/11 on C/D, but l(the letter ell) places 1 on D and therefore 11 on C. Clue l also places 12/14 on A/E, but c places 14 on A and therefore 12 on E. Clue c also places 24 on B. Clue j places 7/25 on A/C, but e places 7 on C and therefore 25 on A. Clue d places 3/5 on B/E, but e places 5 on B and therefore 3 on E.
