Find the rule... (Posted on 2003-03-13) Difficulty: 4 of 5
The following are the smallest 9 elements of an infinite set of integers:

0,1,5,6,25,76,376,625,9376

What rule generates the set? What are the next two values?

These are the automorphic numbers, base 10. The square of each number has the original number as the least significant digits. E.g. 9376 * 9376 = 87909376

The next two values are 90625,109376.
