Let me not ignore the contribution of Dej Mar.
The initial intent of the problem was for a series, from 1 to 5, which had a base of A [119].
By accepting advice on edits pre-publishing, my intent was left a little compromised. I shall leave my intended solution in place but note Dej Mar and my following comment.
Whilst editing this Dej Mar has 'very nicely' added negative values to his solution! Now that is interesting, "Would Pythagoras have built a pyramid with a negative distance?" |
