KS, your solution contains the following statement:

1 + S(2) = 1+ 1 = 2 = S(2)

Which implies that 1 + S(2)  = S(2)  which is invalid.   :-)

The solution should read:

S(2) = S(1) + S(T(2)) = 1 + S(1) = 1 + 1 = 2

S(3) = S(2) + S(T(3)) = 2 + 1 = 3

S(4) = S(3) + S(T(4)) = 3 + S(2) = 3 + 2 = 5

etc.
