where each of the letters represent a digit from 1 to 9 inclusively.

I think this solution must be right.

Let TEA=x, TO=y, and TEAM=(10x+z)

sqrt(x)+y=sqrt(10x+z)

z=2sqrt(x)y-9x+y^2

rearranging: (y^2-9x-z)^2 = 4xy^2

and x must be a perfect square.
