Thank you KS. Thanks for calling this to my attention.

Indeed, I would like to put my methods to bear on the 8 row 
length pdp problem.  

Just a little note: If my experience with the last two pdp problems
are any guide, then this sentence in the problem:

"Find the set with smallest W"

might better read 

"Find a set with smallest W", since each time I have been finding
millions of solutions with the smallest W, the smallest
possible value for largest pdp in the column. 

Added later: indeed - the methods worked - the least pdp was also the smallest prime pdp beginning with "8",  and there were more than 10 million such solutions... See solution here
