Powerful Parade (Posted on 2023-09-03) Difficulty: 2 of 5
If
4^a + 5^b + 6^c = 8^8 + 9^9 + 10^10

then what is the sum S=a+b+c (each a positive integer)?

I might be wrong but... | Comment 1 of 5
Using an Excel spreadsheet to explore all possibilities, I cannot find positive integers a,b,c that satisfy the equation.

Caveat - my spreadsheets have been wrong before.
