A cigarette is standing vertically on its butt. You cannot touch it with any object(solids, liquids or gases). That goes for the foundation also. How can you make it drop? Asking another person to do it does not count.

Couldn't you put all your replies into a single post, even if it takes a little more effort?

The problem with sound and other waves is in order for them to contact the cigarette and make it fall, they would have to go through some medium. The medium would have to be a solid, liquid or gas, and so by making a wave, you're making this medium touch the cigarette.
