A cigarette is standing vertically on its butt. You cannot touch it with any object(solids, liquids or gases). That goes for the foundation also. How can you make it drop? Asking another person to do it does not count.

Under the definition of object given, we are only prohibited from using solids, liquids and gases.  The simplest solution would be to use a form of energy, such as fire, to change the state or shape of matter of the cigarette so as to cause its center of balance to be offset enough to cause the 'hauserstick' to drop. 

Other solutions would be to use a strong magnetic force or pulse, or to use bundles of photons (e.g., a laser) to strike the cigarette off balance, or even topple the cigarette with an object in the form of one of the other states of matter not mentioned: plasma, Bose-Einstein condensate, fermion condensate or even, if
possible to harness, degenerate matter. Also, if possible to harness, the use of  gravitons and gravitional waves could theoretically be used to cause the cigarette to drop.
