A cigarette is standing vertically on its butt. You cannot touch it with any object(solids, liquids or gases). That goes for the foundation also. How can you make it drop? Asking another person to do it does not count.

Since we already have the tools with us to make it drop, and since normal bar tables are rather fragile, I'd say that we jump on the floor to create a vibration. So the cigarette will drop without having to toch the cigarette and the foundation.

Another possibility would have been an earthquake, but I don't have the strength to create one !
