A cigarette is standing vertically on its butt. You cannot touch it with any object(solids, liquids or gases). That goes for the foundation also. How can you make it drop? Asking another person to do it does not count.

Cigarettes make one think of flames. Burning one side of the filter will surely cause it to fall. The flame is not (solid, liquid, or gas), it is energy being emitted by the chemical transformation of whatever is burning.
